4 children’s clinics to Daughters of Charity

Children’s Hospital of New Orleans is turning four pediatric primary care clinics over to Daughters of Charity Health Centers.

New Orleans CityBusiness reports that Kids First Prytania became a Daughters of Charity Pediatric Clinic last week and three others are preparing for similar moves.

Daughters of Charity spokesman Jim Pittman says there won’t be any staff changes at the clinics.

A Mid-City Kids First clinic will be moved to the Daughters of Charity Health Center on South Carrollton Avenue Dec. 22. Clinics on Louisa Street and in Kenner are to become Daughters of Charity pediatric clinics over the next six weeks.

Daughters of Charity has six other adult and pediatric clinics.

Children’s Hospital is keeping nine primary care pediatric clinics in Orleans and Jefferson parishes.
