Integrity of Creation

A Love That Embraces Justice

In addition to working to meet the immediate needs of people living in poverty, the Daughters of Charity, “commit themselves to work for social transformation to change the unjust structures that cause poverty” (Constitutions, 24e). We focus on six key issue areas as we seek to embody Christ’s love, which St. Vincent de Paul reminds us, always embraces justice.
