Sister Roberta Treppa, D.C. ministers as Director at Family Advancement Ministries in Macon, Ga., where a client was recently gifted with the use of a vehicle to aid in transportation for her job, her pursuit of attending college and more easily caring for her family.
Maria Frias Wylie was featured in a local Super Bowl commercial as she was given the two-year lease of a Ford Focus from Trophy Ford in Macon. Maria, a student of FAM’s English as Second Language classes, had spent most of her day driving between her and her husband’s total of three jobs and taking care of her sons.
Sister Roberta shares they are so excited for Maria.
“We are like a family at FAM,” Maria said in a news interview. “We don’t feel homesick, we don’t feel sad. We miss home, but we feel happy.”
