As announced on the Daughters International website, “We are pleased to share that Sister Françoise Petit, Superioress General of the Company of the Daughters of Charity of St. Vincent de Paul, has been appointed by Pope Leo XIV as a member of the Dicastery for the Institutes of Consecrated Life and Societies of Apostolic Life. This appointment is a recognition of Sister Françoise’s service, experience, and witness in consecrated and missionary life. Being part of this Dicastery means collaborating directly with the Holy See in discerning, accompanying, and guiding religious congregations and apostolic societies throughout the world.
